Sludge-Up
Sludge reduction with active oxygen Pond Floor Sludge Reducer
Expected spring 2027
Sludge-Up loosens sludge on the pond bottom so you can remove it easily. A layer of sludge can cause acidification and low-oxygen spots where the water starts to rot. Sludge-Up tackles this in a targeted way, exactly where the sludge lies.
How does it work? Sludge-Up works with active oxygen. The granules sink to the bottom and release oxygen there. This raises the oxygen level near the bottom and lifts the sludge to the surface, where you can easily remove it with a net.
Helps with:
- Sludge in fixed spots, such as corners and under plants
- Low-oxygen, rotting zones on the bottom
- A lot of manual work vacuuming sludge
When do you use it?
- As soon as you see a layer of sludge: sprinkle it on the spots with sludge
- Repeat after 3 days if necessary
- Especially in spring and summer
Good to know: Do not use at a pH above 8.5. First bring a low KH (below 3) and GH (below 6) up to level with KH+ Buffer and GH+ Minerals.
