GH+ Minerals
General hardness & minerals General Hardness Support
Expected spring 2027
GH+ Minerals brings the general hardness (GH) of your pond water up to level. Fish, plants and bacteria need minerals such as calcium and magnesium. If the water is too soft, these are missing and the water quality becomes unstable.
How does it work? The biological processes in the pond constantly use up minerals, causing the GH to fall slowly. GH+ Minerals replenishes those minerals and keeps the hardness in balance. This creates a stable living environment and supports the bones, scales and vitality of the fish.
Helps with:
- A low GH (below 8) when measuring
- Soft water from rainwater or osmosis water
- Unstable water quality despite good maintenance
When do you use it?
- If your measurement shows a GH below 8: until the GH is back at 11–12
- Weekly as maintenance
- After large water changes or when filling a new pond
Good to know: Do not use GH+ Minerals at the same time as KH+ Buffer or medication; dose them on different days.
