Premium Clay is natural, mineral-rich clay for the pond. In nature, koi live in water rich in clay minerals; in a pond these are often missing. Premium Clay brings them back, for clearer water and a healthy, glossy skin.
How does it work? The clay continuously releases minerals that support the bacteria in the filter. As a result, organic waste is broken down better and algae get less chance. At the same time the skin condition of the koi improves, so their natural colours show to their best advantage.
Helps with:
- Green or cloudy water from algae
- Dull skin and mediocre colours
- A pond with few minerals, for example due to rain or osmosis water
When do you use it?
- Weekly, the whole season
- In a new pond to make the water 'mature' quickly
- In combination with Top Koi Boost for maximum colour
Good to know: The water may turn slightly cloudy for a moment after dosing; this clears within a few hours.
