Lacto Balance restores the natural balance in your pond. After a disturbance (a water change, new fish, medication or a hot summer) the balance between good and less good micro-organisms is quickly upset. Lacto Balance helps restore that balance.
How does it work? Lacto Balance is a 100% biological product with lactic acid bacteria, enzymes and yeasts. They complement the existing filter bacteria, help break down organic waste and contribute to a healthy microbial balance. Both the water and the fish benefit.
Helps with:
- Too high ammonia, nitrite or nitrate levels
- Excessive algae growth and cloudy water
- Stress in fish after moving, combining or transport
- Overpopulation or overfeeding
When do you use it?
- When starting a new pond
- Directly after a water change or after medication
- When introducing new koi
- At the start of the season, in summer heat and after winterising
